Zulu has been grooming dogs and cats in the Northcenter neighborhood since 2009. We pride ourselves on individualized attention for our 4 legged clients. We don’t take more than 2 cats or dogs at a time in order to fully focus on your pet. We groom cats and dogs in separate rooms as well as catering to dogs only on Cats only on Sundays. Personal experience. Your pet will enjoy soothing music, kisses, and lots of love and attention during their services at Zulu. Also, we are one of the few salons that groom cats on separate days. This creates a less stressful environment for the cats. Jackie, our cat stylist, has over 10 years of experience grooming cats and dogs and has a very soothing, relaxing persona that the cats and dogs love. We are so lucky to have such a talented team and can't wait to serve you and your pet. General pricing guidelines are listed, a brief consultation will be held with the stylist immediately prior to appointment for final pricing based on the dogs/cats current condition of coat, client cooperation, and owner's expectations.

Meet Jackie! Jackie is a graduate of The Academy of Dog Grooming Arts in Arlington Heights Illinois. She has over 10 years of experience grooming dogs and cats. Jackie is one of very few experienced cat groomers in the city. Adding to her grooming talents, Jackie was previously a Vet Technician, this knowledge helps her handle even the most fidgety clients. Jackie has also worked for Anti-Cruelty and Paws Chicago. In her spare time Jackie loves volunteering at Harmony House Adoption Center for Cats, Hi Kitty Kitty Rescue, and Precious Pets Almost Home rescue, as well as volunteer animal transport for NITT.
